Abstract

This study aims to investigate the mediating role of psychological empowerment in the relationship between inclusive leadership, workplace spirituality, and employee innovative behavior within technology-based companies. Utilizing a quantitative approach, survey data were collected from 254 employees across the Greater Jakarta region and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in AMOS. The results reveal that both inclusive leadership and workplace spirituality positively influence employee innovative behavior. Notably, while workplace spirituality directly enhances psychological empowerment, inclusive leadership lacks a significant direct association with it. Despite this nuance, psychological empowerment successfully mediates the impact of both inclusive leadership and workplace spirituality on innovative behavior, acting as a crucial internal driver of workplace innovation. Practically, these findings imply that to sustain competitiveness, technology firms must actively cultivate inclusive leadership practices and nurture workplace spirituality, leveraging both to boost employees' psychological empowerment and foster a continuous culture of innovation.
